About Northern Borders Sportfishing

Northern Borders Sportfishing offers professionally guided fishing charters out of Prince Rupert British Columbia, Canada. I operate a 27’ Skagit orca powered by twin 150 hp Yamaha outboards. With a fully enclosed heated cabin and spacious 85 square foot rear fishing deck, this vessel is the perfect platform to enjoy a comfortable day on the water. All electronics, fishing gear and safety equipment are top of the line and thoroughly maintained throughout the season to help ensure a safe and quality experience on every charter.

With over a decade of sportfishing experience I’m committed to offering the best well rounded fishing experience possible. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just getting started I’m confident I can deliver the experience you are looking for as well as improve your angling skills and knowledge along the way. The only things I hold higher to my commitment to excellence as a charter operator and passion for fishing, is the importance of conservation and my respect for the coast we live and fish on. Northern Borders operates with a conservation policy that all chinook over 30 pounds and any ling cod 40’’ or greater will be released if safely possible regardless of laws.

I'm the owner/operator of Northern Borders Sportfishing. I started working professionally in the sport fishing industry in 2012 , and since then my passion towards fishing has taken over my life. I’ve spent the last decade honing my guiding skills from the central coast all the way to British Columbia's northern border. Spending as much time as possible each year and shaping my life around, chasing chinook salmon. Every fall, I follow the fish inland and take my passion for guiding to the Skeena river and its tributaries, chasing world class steelhead on the fly. It isn’t very often you can catch me without a fishing rod in my hand and I truly believe that is what sets me apart as an owner and a guide. I look forward to you joining me out on the water to share this passion together.

The Great white

The Great White is a custom built 27’ Skagit orca, powered by twin 150 hp Yamaha outboards. It features a massive 85 square foot rear fishing deck with control station and fully enclosed heated cabin with washroom facilities. This vessel is outfitted with state of the art Garmin electronics and two high-performance scotty downriggers. Also equipped with top of the line islander & abel mooching reels for salmon and Shimano big game combos for halibut. The Great White is specifically set up to maximize efficiency and effectiveness during your day out on the water.
