Winter Fishing (8 hours)-$1200 (+GST)
November-April
Prince Rupert harbour provides a unique angling experience 12 months out of the year. the protected waters of the Harbour are a bustling feeding ground for immature chinook salmon still a year or two away from their great migration. The chinook this time of year are not only particularly energetic, they are notably more tasty than their migratory cousins in the summer months. Unlike other winter chinook fisheries we target these fish in relatively shallow water (20’-70’) which allows you to experience the true power of these amazing fish. Opportunities for crabs and prawns typically improve these times of year do to relatively low fishing pressure. If you’re looking to escape the snow or just scratch the itch before next summers fishing trip join me for a day in the harbour this winter, you won’t leave disappointed.
